1932 Ford Roadster
Meet "Cal". Cal is my personal car. I am Maris, o owner of Texas Classic Cars of Dallas. Please read through my ad and call me with any questions. 214-616-2317
Built in Texas, al has been around the Dallas area all of his life. I have owned him for the last 12.
As always, e want to thank the folks at the Frontier's of Flight Museum for allowing us to do our photo shoots at their great location. Please stop in to see this awesome piece of history.
Cal's 350 ci small block has a mild cam and sounds great when he's idling. The casting number is 14010207 making the block a 1980-85 350. He has run cool for the entire time I've owned him. Even in this Texas heat he never gets above 198 even at a red light. He has been a trouble free car for 12 years.Check out my video of Cal just below. This is a true driver's car.

His Cadillac air breather gives him a great look. When I bought him, decided to make a few changes. I added the Sanderson Lime-Fire custom headers and the custom made drop straight side pipes. There are no baffles in the pipes, o Cal can be heard coming down the street for sure.
Cal is built on an original 32 Ford frame, herefore is titled as a 1932 Ford.
His body is glass, nd I am not sure what company built the body.
The wheels of choice were these great wire spoke wheels. They are wrapped in Neptune P205/75R14s in front and Performance P275 / 60R15 107s in the rear.
Cal has logged just over 6250 miles in his lifetime.
Cal won many trophies and plaques. He even got his picture in the Good Duys Gazette in February of 2007 along with our good friend Hoppy Hopkins (many of our close car friends know we lost Hoppy recently and he is missed terribly).
He has a tilt steering wheel, nd a rubber coated wheel which is waterproof in case you get caught in the rain. I do have a portable windshield wiper that attaches to the windshield and plugs into the cigarette lighter if you are driving through a state that requires wipers. It is stored under the seat. There is plenty of room under the bench seat for important items.
The AM/FM radio and C/D player works great.
Cal was pin striped by Mr. James Crawford. He was one of the Dallas areas best stipers. He passed away a few years ago. Mr. Crawford's signature were the 3 small dots at the point of all of his work. All I ask of Cal's new owner is that they try to retain his pin striping.
You can see in the photo below, hat the fuel fill is angled. That is the only design flaw in the car. You just have to put gas in very slowly.
Cal has a 9" Ford rear end. I don't know the exact gears, ut he willdefinitelyget up and go on the freeways.
The Turbo 700 transmission has always shifted well through it's gears. The original ford frame rails have hadadditionalsupport added. Cal is a very solid little car.
The car has front disc brakes and drums in the rear.
