1972 Ford Mustang

NO ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS .Car will need restoration .This is an original red on red mach 1 mustang . It has 114k miles . It is in running and driving condition but has been off road since 1993 . It was restored back in 80's driven for a few years and shown then parked . It has a very solid structure as to the shock tower, cow, front frame rails and torque boxe, rockers and rear sub-frame is all original and very solid . The floors are solid with possibly a small area towards rear drivers side maybe a few inches if that . The car is very nice as to all the usually prone rust areas even the tail panel is good . It has the factory mach 1 deluxe interior with factory gauge, factory tachomete, power steering and front power disc brakes . It has twist down hood pin, factory 1973 Ford slotted aluminum wheels ( 1973 option on mach added , has the 1971 Boss styled chrome front bumper and chrome surrounds above eyebrows and hoo, has a 1971 flip open gas ca, it had a rear spoiler ( removed but included in truc, looks like aftermarket reproduction fiberglass ), has the front chin spoiler . It has the original 351C 2 V "H" code engine with factory 9 inch rear ( axle code is 2 so most likely a 2.75:1 , it has a C-6 transmission which I believe was added as the DATA plate indicates "X" for FMX . There is a dual exhaust someone added ( all "H" codes are single ) Car is all complete with the exception of a center console which I believe was there as there looks like carpet would indicate one was there . Every light inside and ou, headlamp, sport lamp, turn signal, rear lamp, licence plate ligh, dash light, interior light, all are workin, the hor, wiper, radio all work . The gauges are all working as well with the exception of the fuel gaug, the tachomete, speedomete, oil pressure ( reads at equivalent of 55 P.S.I. warmed )temperatur, amp, trip odomete, odomete, turn signal indicators etc all working properly. Solid trun, just needs some scaling to remove surface rust and detai, all original doors with perfect seam sealed corner, shut very well . All glass is good . Overall a great bones car to restore . This is what the Diamonds are Forever car looked like less the blacked out hood and side stripe ( both added as you can see the trim molding still in place ) . Car is pretty nice for what I expect it to sell fo, somewhere between $6800-$7500 . I can be reached at 516-467-6890 for offers/information .
