1956 Ford F-100

Here's a great find, a very desireable 1956 F100 pickup. This is an incredible survivor, never left Southern California. It is totally rust free, a very solid truck that was modified in the 1970's and never molested.
It was repowered with a 351 Cleveland and C6 transmission years ago, the swap is quite clean and works great. The motor is a 4V Cleveland and features Detomaso Pantera valve covers and air cleaner, might actually be out of a Pantera? It has a 1971 date code on it. The original rear axle was swapped for a 9" at some point and it still has the original front beam axle. Recently installed were front power disc brakes, new gas tank, new carburetor and radiator. It runs and drives with no issues whatsoever. Everything works except the speedometer and horn, and that includes the 8 track player under the dash. Still has the matching California black plates issued in 1963. Also included are a smattering of small parts including NOS tail light lenses and turn signal lenses, the radio unit and a V8 emblem for the hood. It will need new tires soon, but otherwise ready to go.
If you have been looking for a 1956 F100 this is the one. Incredibly solid body, doors close like new, original door glass, a pleasure to drive. Don't spend more money on someone else's botched project, this is a rare opportunity to get into an unmolested truck. Just write the check and start having fun tomorrow, fly in and drive home.
