1948 Ford F-5 Dually Flatbed Dump Truck
Up for sale is this very special 1948 Ford F-5 Dump truck. I have used it to help promote my business for years and now you can do the same by removing my graphics with a heat gun and replacing them with your own. This truck is still powered by the original 238 ci Flathead V8 coupled to the original 4-speed transmission. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts with an alternator to power the 58 additional lights that have been added to the exterior. The truck has 52368 original miles and is all tuned up and has new brake cylinders so it is ready to go anywhere. It rolls on 19.5" one piece steel wheels with S&S Simulators fitted with fresh P245/70R19.5 rubber. I have the original split rim wheels and they come with the sale. The interior has been redone replicating the original 1948 look. Oil pressure and water temp gauges have been added and the FORD emblem in the center of the dash pulls away to reveal a modern stereo. The cab is also heated. As you will note in the photos and in our video there are many custom touches on this truck with the added lighting, the 9.5' flatbed with all new wood, the West Coast Mirrors, the LED backup lights, the tool boxes and more, yet it retains the great looks of an original 1948 Ford. It runs great and everything works as it should including the dump bed. It is truly a No Disappointments vehicle.
