1964 Ford Galaxy 500 --
We found this 1964 Ford Galaxy 500 sitting in a barn locally here in Georgia and we bought it and pull it out of barn to rescue it. It has the 390 engine and it runs like a sewing machine. It sounds good, does not smoke and is so smooth. It has the Cruise O Matic transmission and it shifts out good. The paint appears to be the original paint. The body is good except for a dent on the drivers side front fender where it appears a limb or something fell on it. It has a couple places where there are bubbles under the paint but not bad. The trunk, floor pans and rockers are all in good condition. The chrome looks good to be as old as it is. The windows all roll up and down good and no cracks in the glass. The seats, carpet and door panels all look good. The arm rest on drivers side is torn. It needs headliner installed but the material for it is in the car. The package tray is in the trunk and just needs to be put back in. There are extra parts in trunk. The speedometer work as do all the lights. The gas hand does not appear to be working. This car is a good running and driving project. You can drive and enjoy it while restoring it to your liking. The tires are in good condition as well.
