Due to changes in life...I seldom drive this classic any more. I owned this truck since 1996 and restored it.
This is when Ford build a real truck out of real steel. Very little plastic to this truck. It runs good. Been kept under a roof.
Sports a 5cyl. Air cooled Deutz diesel engine turbocharged. Not a real powerhouse but will get you from point A to point B. Fuel mileage 16-18 mpg. Has a A727 Chrysler auto transmission, stock transfer case. Gear Vendor overdrive unit. Espar diesel fired heater for cabin heat. The engine, transmission, front and rear axles have been gone through. 16" Aluminum wheels, it's about due for tires. Tinted windows(Oregon legal), Extang snap style bed cover, power brakes, power steering, dual fuel tanks, spare tire, bug shield, cab lights, running boards, mud flaps. 2" receiver hitch, flat 4 trailer wiring connector, cloth headliner, cloth sunvisors, floor carpet, floor mats, sliding rear window, rubber bed mat, velvet ride rear spring shackles, Custom Seat, 3 section, compartment under center seat, cassette player, but no speakers. The wiring is all there for an amp and speakers. Had mice in the cab many years ago and chewed into the speakers I had behind the seat and never replaced them.
