We are offering for sale an extremely clean 1972 LTD. This car has automatic, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, and AM/FM Cassette, featuring a cleveland V8 400 engine with a two barrel. This car starts, runs and drives like brand new. If you personally come out to pickup the car and it doesn't do that, hand me back the key and don't buy it. This car has 100% original paint except for two spots I touched up on the hood because the paint was peeling off (underneath those two spots was the original primer). This 400 engine sounds like a brand new car. It shifts correctly. Tires, brakes, exhaust and front end are all in good condition. This car was purchased from a man that knew the family of the deceased. From around 2002 until 2017 the car sat in the garage and was only started, never driven.
The 39,581 miles are actual to the car. There's a sticker that we took a picture of that was on the engine compartment showing that it had 38,000 actual miles in 1999, verifying the actual miles on this vehicle. When there is an estate, and it's not a 6 digit speedometer that would go over 100,000 miles, the estate cannot write down actual miles because there is no one there to sign the paper that guarantees the miles to be actual. So the state has two choices: write down exceeded or non-actual. In this case, they marked down exceeded. But the 39K miles are actual to this vehicle.
The interior and headliner are both in fantastic shape. The body is what you would expect of a newer car, because it's really clean. The floors and the frames on both sides are just about perfect. The underneath of the car looks like it came from Las Vegas, never seeing snow or salt. If you're looking for a classic car you can drive home or anywhere, that's really sharp and holds 6 people, this LTD would be a lot of fun to drive around.
