1934 Ford Other

  • Up for sale is a gorgeous newly built 1934 Ford Sedan. No expense was spared on this sedan. We first started with a Pete & Jake's chassis and an early 90's Downs body. The chassis was fitted with a Super Bell straight axle that was ground smooth and finished in a stunning gold paint. The leaf springs were also painted to match and a the spring perches, bat wings, bars, and etc. we're chromed by High line plating. Out back there is a slightly narrowed new 9 inch ford with posi traction and 3:50 gears. New drum brakes in the rear and new Wilwood disc brakes up front. All the plumbing on the chassis was done in stainless tubing. The exhaust use magna flow stainless mufflers and ceramic coated 2" exhaust. Pushing this gorgeous sedan down the road is a newly built mild 383 stroker motor mated to a 350 turbo trans. The motor is topped with aluminum edelbrock heads, edelbrock intake and carb. Msd ignition fires this beast every time. Keeping this motor running cool at a steady 210 degrees is a Walker 4 core radiator with a cooling components fan. Sanderson headers, chrome drive pulleys, chrome alternator, and chrome Sanden ac compressor finish out the front of the motor. Billets specialties valve covers and Alan Grove brackets were painted in the custom mix gold. The oil sensor, msd cap, and fan shroud were all smoothed and painted to match as well. All electric gauges work as they should. The air has yet to be charged but does hold vaccum and the heat works great. The solid Downs body was blocked and doors were gapped before the custom mix gold was applied to the body. A custom chromed aluminum windshield frame was added. A Rootlieb hood and a chrome Bob Drake grille was used for the front end. Numerous hours were spent fitting the hood and grille to perfection. The rear of the body was slightly channeled to house the rear end and get the stance just right. The car rides on 16" Wheel Vintique steel wheels and Coker tire bias ply tires. The custom interior uses hybrid vinyl to cover the front and rear Teas seats and also the door panels. Just a bit of alligator material was added to compliment things perfectly. The dash was painted gold and behind it sits the Vintage Air Gen ii unit. A Lokar shifter, Streamline gauges, and white gauges compliment the interior just right. The electric windows seal up nice and tight and the battery is located behind the rear seat.A merican Autowire harness was used to wire the car. There is electronic door poppers that control the front doors and the buttons are hidden outside the car. There has been lots of details paid attention to on this car. All stainless bolts threw out. Lots of chrome work done as well. This gorgeous sedan has been driven around 400 miles and is a joy to drive. This car debuted at the Indy World of Wheels and won best rod chassis, best rod interior, best rod engine, 1st in class, and the Casi cup. In Louisville at the Carl Casper show it won Best rid engine. 1st in class, and Top 20 overall out of 600 cars. Since then it has won a Street Rodder top 100 and numerous other awards. This car is absolutely stunning. The under side, engine compartment, and interior are detailed with finish paint and chrome.
