1958 Ford F-100 Custom Cab
Documented frame-off resto-modtruck transformed into a striking, show qualityOld School styled half-tonstreet-rod pickup with exceptional look, muscle-car sound, and smooth performance.Quality steel fabrication and expert welding replaced floor, steps, and rockers; door cowls; new cab supports; front exterior fenders. Built to last and outperform original.
Lower, bed end-caps were replaced with new product from Northeast Speed Shop. New, custom white oak wood bed with stainless runners replaced sagging steel. Natural color red oak sealed with 7-coats of Helmsman SPAR Urethane. New locking tail gate includes chains for show.
Completely sand-blasted by A-1 Sand Blasting (Golden) and professionally painted, assembled and fully undercoated by award winning Camaro's Plus (Wheat Ridge). The color is Ford Indian Turquoise on bright white.
Chassis refinished from end-to-end. New TCI Mustang II Independent Front Suspension (IFS) with power rack and pinion steering, 2-inch drop spindles and 11-inch front disc brakes professionally installed by LaRusso Performance Automotive (Thornton). Rear chassis channels trimmed ¼" on each side to accommodate 1969 Mustang fuel tank with easy trap-door access. Heavy duty rear shocks, leaf springs support flipped rear axle, smoothwith new coil-over front shocks.Old school rake on a staggered 20" x 10" and 20" x 8" wheels with Nexxan directional radials.
New brake system includes new brake lines and fittings. Vacuum boosted with a new dual chamber master and manual proportioning valve.
a Ford 5.0L (302 ci) V8 with new ProComp performance cam, lifters, water pump, timing chain, harmonic balancer and oil pump. Edlebrock Air-Gap manifold with an Edlebrock 1405 manual choke, four-barrel 600 cfm carburetor. Pertronix ignition and high power coil. New belts, hoses and pulleys. Chrome Ford Performance dress up kit. Heddman Shorty headers coupled with 2½" stainless steel tubes and Thrush mufflers turn out just ahead of the rear wheels.
Ford C4 3-spd automatic transmission with neutral safety switch. Deluxe tilt column shift, new transmission radiator. Ford 9" 3.73:1.
New Kwik Wire harness with fuse box and new wiring throughout. Added third taillight, reverse lights, stereo radio and emergency flashers. Equus gauges
Fully insulated cab with new custom headliner and sunroof. Black cut pile carpet, spectacular 1958 authentic F100 seat frame covered in matching Indian Turquoise vinyl with white Ford Comfort-Weave inlays. Matching sun visors, door handles and door access panels. Knobs, handles and bezels were restored with new green tint glass, rubber and weatherstripping. Anti-rattle door kits, working windows and door locks, and a new stereo radio and speakers.
Complete photo library, videos and all paperwork. Clear title, emission exempt and licensed with NOS year-of-manufacture license plates.
