1964 FORD FAIRLANE 500 RESTOMOD for sale. Completely cosmetically restored car6 years ago. Good quality comprehensive restoration. Rebuilt 351Windsor motor and C4 automatic with less than 500 on both. Smooth drivetrain, very drivable long distance. Nicely geared for cruising. Great brakes with good pedal feel and confident braking power. Steering is good but little loose just like most of these cars. Light feel, lady can steer this thing.
I acquired the car in a trade for one of my builds {I build 1965 1966 Mustang predominantly - see my YouTube channel }.
Car was in great shape but needed my touch. It had some minor chips on the upper portion and broken windshield. So I took it apart and had the top resprayed with darker shade of silver. The split was pinstriped by the legend himself, Steve Styles.
The entire car was color sanded and buffed, even the bottom portion. The color looks black most of the time but is actually Harley Davidson Black Chery metallic. Really nice color.
I lowered the suspension and swapped in brand new wheels and tires, 18 and 20in.
Updated interior seats with aftermarket bolstered buckets. Most of the stainless trim was polished and overall the car looks very nice. Gorgeous lines, shiny chrome and great stance. Very solid in every aspect. New owner will love the car.
Like I said, my area of expertise is first gen Mustangs. This is wonderful and great looking car but not for me for the long term. It gets ton of attention and is priced for quick sale. If you wish to negotiate, don't call me. Car is gorgeous and well worth the price. Call with questions. NO TEXTING OR EMAILING. REAL BUYER ALWAYS CALLS SO LETS NOT WASTE TIME.
