1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 FASTBACK

Decent 1965 mustang fastback c code car. Original white with red interior 289 3 speed manual car. This car was bought new in Spartanburg Sc and has been here all of its life. The car was bought new by a grandmother as a daily driver car, then it was passed down to her grandson in 1994. He drove the car for a couple of years before having a minor fender bender and the car has sat in a dry storage unit ever since. I bought this car from the grandson and have done minor things to put it back on the road. The car did not have any rust on the doors, fenders or quarters but it did have dents and dings that were repaired. The whole car was repainted white with the blue stripes and looks good enough for a daily driver. This car is a long way from a show car but it is also a long way from being junk. The engine in the car appears to be a reman 289 engine, the previous owner said it had less than 5k miles on it since purchased new from the parts store. It also has a T5 transmission installed that shifts good. The car is a decent driver as is. It will need lots of little things finished, but you can ride it as you work on it. It also has brand new American racing torque wheels and tires installed.
The good.Original 1 owner fastback v8 carDecently straight car that's never been bad rusty.Everything is there minus the front bumper/bracketsRuns and drives ok with the reman 289/5 speedNew tires and wheelsNew paintAll interior is there but needs restoredAll glass/trim is there and useable
The badNeeds patch pans on the floors/toe boardsIt's been and banged through the years of daily drivingThe drivers fender apron/core support has been replacedThe paint/bodywork on the car isn't perfect. The rear quarters need the lips rolled before the car is driven to clear the new wheels/tires.It's a project car that needs finished
This car will be sold as is, np warranties. I encourage any person to see come see this car before making the bids. My perception of good, decent and useable may be different than yours and I will not be responsible for a difference of opinions. I can and will get you any more pics or videos of this car as my work schedule allows. This is one of my 6 fastbacks that I have in my personal collection, I am looking to sell this one to focus more on my 67-68 fastbacks. I will assist in shipping.
