This handsome 1966 Pony sports its original numbers matching 289 V8 with original 85k miles.
M echanicaly sound
Automatic transmission shifts great and nice power steering. It has the GT trumpet exhaust tail pipes.
The engine is mechanically sound, the body is in good shape. It has newer tires with wire hub caps.
The engine runs strong, engine was taken out, cleaned and resealed. A transmission service was performed, new transmission cooler lines were put in. It has a new water pump, new exhaust manifolds,
a new Plantronics distributor ignition module, a new oil sending unit, a new flex plate, a new harmonic balancer, a new aluminum radiator.
A new thermostat and housing, new V belts for alternator, steering and motor fan, the carburetor was rebuilt, new chrome valve covers, new battery tray and hold down bracket, new battery cables, new electrical engine harness set, new voltage regulator, new spark plugs and wires, new distributor cap, new radio, full size spare tire and a new owner's manual.
Front and Rear Drum brakes stop the car great.
All electrical is in working order, ( Lights, Brakes,Turn Signals, Wipers). Has a Custom Autosound Stereo with 2 speakers in package tray.
Dual exhaust makes the car sound great!
Painted Fire Engine Red about 7 yrs. ago and overall very shiny and looks great.
All metal panels and gapping are great and doors close solid!
Newer front winsheild and all rest of the glass is great and windows roll up and down as they should.
14" wheels with 195/75R14 radials with original rare knok off Hub Caps.
Inside is in great shape! New black bucket upholstery front nad rear seats. Carpet, dash pad, sill plates, headliner, door panels and kick plates all in great condition and all factory gauges working. Everything is great condition and looks awesome!!!
From a driving standpoint, the Mustang starts right up and falls into a smooth idle, This Pony is easy to drive and is very reliable. I can not emphasize enough how great the car runs!
