Description:

1984 Ford Mustang GT350 20th Anniversary

Here is a rare limited built 1984 Mustang GT350 20th Anniversary edition build number 4733. Being number 4733 his car was built closer to the end of the run of the 5,000 GT350 Anniversary cars produced. This car only has 5,216 original documented miles on it and has been stored in optimal inside storage for it's whole life. This are only a few of these cars left with this low of mileage on them and this car is incredibly clean and original and also still has the new car smell inside. I'm the second owner and I have owned the car going on 13 years. I always wanted a 1984 Mustang GT350 since I first seen one when I was a teenager and I located this one in Kansas. A friend and me took my truck and trailer on a road trip and brought this car home to Pennsylvania with 4,737 on the odometer and now unfortunately it is time for me to let this car go to a new home. The original owner purchased the car at Laird Noller Ford in Topeka Kansas on 5/5/1984 with 26 miles on the odometer. This vehicle is well documented with every thing that was done to it in a binder that is two inches thick. A copy of the window sticker in included, the build sheet is included (last photo) in fantastic condition, the original numbered dash plaque and GT350 Anniversary Horseshoe are on the dash which many of these cars don't have them because the original owner kept them or never ordered them after taking delivery of the cars. The instruction sheet for the dash plaque mounting is included. Every dealer could order the Anniversary car topper for the show room Mustang and that is included as well. The other documentation is for the complete history of the car including a few recalls and a warranty job which included the change of the water pump, fan, and fan clutch at 170 miles. All of the MVR records will be included for history proof for the vehicle. The car was ordered with the TRX performance suspension but Ford added the quad shocks to the package and eliminated the slapper bars that the earlier models came with. The TRX package also came with the metric wheel upgrade with the 220/55VR 390 Michelin tires. The wheels still appear as they would have from new with the clear coat still in tact. The tires are still original with very minimal dry rot due to the optimal storage conditions it was subjected to over the years. There is also an extra set of brand new Michelin 220/55VR 390 tires that will come with the car that I purchased when I heard that Michelin was discontinuing them. Tires alone were nearly $900.00 back when purchased. The car has every option offered other than the the three different roof options. There was never no need for replacement tune up parts or carburetor repairs due to the fact that the car gets started every couple of months to keep the small amount of ethanol free fuel from going bad or turning the carburetor into a powdery mess. The GT350 does get out for a few mile drive a few times a year to keep things moving and oils & coolant circulated. The plug wires are original and dated 1984. There were a few dealer installed items like the dealer installed Ford Motorsport metal louvers and the Ford Motorsport mud flaps. I wanted to note that there are a couple of small stone chips here and there but nothing major. There are the normal rub marks/ chips where the hatch meets the body. There is a mark from when the previous owner had a moving company transport the car in a enclosed trailer and another item that was being moved rubbed back and forth on the lower side of the belt molding on the front bumper cover. If you are a serious potential buyer I will be willing to set some time aside to talk to you via phone call if you message me through Ebay to set it up. The buyer should be as thrilled as I was when I purchased it nearly thirteen years ago.
Note: a vehicle like this has appreciated in value since I purchased it and will continue to appreciate in this condition. There was a convertible that sold at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale in 2016 for $71,500. Ebay no longer allows inks inserted in the listings but Google Barrett Jackson 1984 Mustang GT350 Anniversary.
Thank you!
