1931 Ford Model A Pickup

This was my grandfathers 1931 Ford Model A pick up truck thats been in the family since the early 1950's. The body is all original steel as is the interior. Its missing the interior door cards/panels, the remnants of the original headliner are still in place. My grandfather kept this truck as is since day one with only having the body repainted with the correct shades and make of paint. He was a stickler about keeping it original and as it was how he worked on Model A's as a kid. No body work has been done that I know of. The original wood bed top side is painted green. From what I recall even the top is original. The 35 wheel change over and hydraulic brakes were done way back in the day and I am told thats how it was done back then by a Model A specialist out of Long Beach CA that came out to view the truck last year. He even commented on the oil rag under the hood.
This truck was rarely driven since the late 1960's. I know its been garaged for at least the past 50 years only being taken out of the garage for the occasional local parade or Model A Club gathering. Since 2000 its only been driven twice, to both my grandfather and grandmothers funerals. Both of those days are the only time its been out in damp weather in my own 50 years of memory. However, being stored the brakes have locked up and it could use some tires. The motor hand cranks freely but hasnt been started or driven since 2013. The roll up windows work. I have not opened or tilted the front windshield.
Ive not detailed this truck in any way. I did go over it lightly with a car duster for the photos. What you see is what it is, an original, as it was back then, and still is now, super low mileage time capsule. I believe this is an original SoCal truck. The title is clear and in hand with an active certificate of non operation for California. Im starting the bidding well below what the truck has been appraised for. A $500 deposit is to be made within 24 hours of the auction close with full payment due within seven days. This vehicle is sold as is where is with transportation, shipping and delivery the responsibility of the winning bidder.
