1968 Ford Mustang

1968 Ford Mustang Fastback. VIN # 8T02C2192XX It started life as a Base model fastback with a 289 with 3spd manual (Bullit metallic green).I've owned this car since 2010, now I need room in my garage.Current odometer reading is 65,338, but it's probably flipped and I'm still driving it so it may increase slightly. The engine in it now is a1970 302 bored.030 over with small chamber 289 heads, mild 484 cam, roller rockers, edelbrock intake and 4bbl carb, hypo 289 exh manifolds, rebuilt C4 auto w/ shift kit. It has spent the majority of its life in Maryland and Virginia. It underwent a restoration back in 1993-94 when it had new front frame rails, torque boxes, and rear quarters installed (rear marker lights never cut out) along with all the Shelby style fiberglass hood, side scoops, trunk lid, rear qtr fairings, GT fuel cap, new interior (the original hood, and trunk lid were unfortunately lost to history). That's also when the engine and trans was overhauled to. Since then it has been garaged winters and only rarely driven on nice summer days. It has original 8" rear-end with fresh 3.55 gears & trac-loc, super stock rear leaf, front and rear sway bars, front power disc brakes, along with newly added quick ratio borgeson steering gearbox with PS pump so it handles and stops really well for a car of this era. Newer dual exhaust with throaty two chamber mufflers. It also had fold-down rear seat and center console installed which it didn't originally come with. I do have a lot of the original ext & int trim parts, emblems, steering wheel, manual pedal assy, air cleaner, OEM steel wheels, PS gearbox and pump, etc.. that will go with car. For those of you that don't recognize the wheels on it, they are the rare and sought after vintage 1970's 14x7 mini-lite wheels made in England (not repro's) like ones used on 1970's Boss 302 Trans-Am series race cars. Car also comes with fresh David Keys close ratio top loader 4-spd speed and bellhousing, that I never got around to installing. The car runs, drives, stops great. It has only been driven maybe sixthousand miles total since 1994 restoration was completed. The car has absolutely solid with lots of new sheet metal during restoration The paint is still very presentable and shiny, it is a driver not a show care, the paint does flex cracking on hood, and small nicks, scratches, and touchups spots. This is a turn-key driver quality car that really turns heads, could easily be put back to stock configuration. Brand new rear wheel cylinders, master cyl, distribution block/proportioning valve last year, All electrical items like lights, horn, heater, wipers, dash systems work as they should. This car has been owned by adults . The only flaws are the tire are flat spotting from lack of use, small split in driver's seat seam and center console, rear courtesy light lens missing (ones pushed in), LH fender was repainted due to peeling paintso ithas slight shade mis-match. This is the good driver quality car a flipper or overpriced classic car dealer would throw a new paint job on it and ask over $45k for it. Car is sold with clear Virginiatitle from previous owner, since NH does not title antique cars. The fair asking price is exactly what NADA Average retail value has it listed at $31,790.00. Sold as is, No trades, Warranties, Refunds, Partial Payments, Phony Nigerian Banks, or B.S, Certified Funds only, buyer is responsible for pickup/shipping of car & parts.
