Description:

1970 Ford Mustang

This 1970 Fastbackis an old school weekend street racer. I twas owned by the same owner for decades. The car is in un-restored.The interior is believed to be original upholstery. The body panels all appear original, including and especially the rear quarter panels. The engine...on the other hand, is a bit "modified".It is an absolute beast! It's 351C has a fairly low hours build, with aluminum heads, Mallory distributor, MSD ignition etc etc.The car was originally a manual transmission, but as itwas this gentlemen's weekend warrior dragtoy, it has a firm shifting automatic in it. Sometime back in the day when you could actually find them....the rear differential was upgraded to a Nodular "N" 31 spline. Tires are old, but very cool.. ;-) Mickey Thompson cheater slicks with Weld Wheels. For local cruises, I'd say they are usable still. However, don't think I'd run the highway with them....

The paint is "ok".It was repainted some years back and is still "presentable" driver quality. It should be noted that she is not a concourse show car. She has 48 years of dings/dents, but is totally rust free, as she wasn't driven as a daily driver.

The car comes the fiberglass hood shown in the photos, and also with its stock metal hood with a vintage teardrop scoop. I included a few photos with the stock hood just "set" in place, so you could see it and its condition. It is clean/straight. The hood hinges are also included.

This car must be seen to be appreciated, very straight...with NO rust. Please look at the photos. If there are any specific photo that are desired, please request them directly, and I will accommodate.

If you'd like to hear it run, I put a vid up on youtube, however ebay doesn't permit links anymore, so you will have to go to youtube and search "1970 Mustang Fastback 351C For Sale" to find it. I just did it, and it was the first result in the list. The image in the search resultis of the rear view of the car.

Summary:Solid and straight fastback with no rust, original quarters, very strout drivetrain..... try and find another one like it ... ;-)

In person inspections are of course suggested, no tire kickers or joy riders please.
