Description:

1972 Ford Ranchero

Your bidding on a 1972 Ford Ranchero with a 351 Cleveland engine and C6 transmission. Light metallic green with black interior with grey accents. Striping is painted on, not decals. Engine was rebuilt with about 2000 miles on. Transmission has been rebuilt. I believe this Ranchero has the cleanest bed around- no dents, dings or scratches. She is sporting American "Daisy" rims 15X7 front and 15X8 rear with BF Goodrich 235 front and 275 rear. An Alpine MP3/WMA CD receiver has been installed. The area behind the seats has been modified to add Infinity 6X9 3 way speakers, Infinity subs and a Infinity 6 channel amp. Subtle modifications have been done. The tail pipes have been tucked just under the rear bumper. The original exposed gas cap that sits on the left rear quarter panel has been replaced with a internal overflow cup and gas lid on the panel. There is a release button inside by the drivers seat for the gas lid. This was done due to gas overflow down the outside panel. The original dealership decal was very damaged over the last forty years and was reproduced after the Ranchero was repainted and is on the rear tail gate. Using the original antenna base a power retractable antenna replaces the original fixed antenna to help maintain its original look. The original grill has been damaged and replace by a one of a kind custom grill. There is a crack in the middle of the dash that I have not corrected yet. The car has been very reliable for me as I use it as my daily driver. Though I only work a mile from home so I don't go to far each day. The car has been well received at various shows. Thank you for your consideration.
