Description:

1993 Ford Mustang LX

The car actually belongs to my ol lady, I'm helping her sell it. She needed a bigger daily driver, so unfortunately, the Notch has to go. She purchased the car January of 2010 with approximately 88,000 miles on it, currently has 155,792. Over the almost 8 years she's owned it, I have done all the maintenance to the car,and hunting for OEM parts to keep it on the road whenever necessary. The car has been treated like a member of the family. In the last year I have replaced (most as preventative maintenance): Front Rotors- Front Brake Pads- Inner and Outer Front wheels bearings on both driver and passenger side.- Rear wheels bearings (and a little while before that I replaced the rear shoes and drums.)- Wiper motor- Windshield (Done professionally, it's air and water tight)- Front Headlights- Timing belt was replaced approximately 40,000 miles ago.- Upgrades include: Fram Air Hog Air Filter- T-Bird Air Intake Tube from MAF TO TB- Ranger Header- Turbo Muffler- Bigger 33mm Front Sway Bar - Added 21mm Rear Sway Bar (Four cylinder models never came with them to my knowledge)- Tinted Windows- Dual AM/FM Stereo with CD player and AUX/USB ports- 140 MPH Speedometer (Yes mileage is accurate and calibration is still accurate)- 10 Hole Phone Dial 15" Wheels painted gloss black with 205/70/15s up front and 245/60/15s out back. The front tires are getting low in tread and I recommend new ones before the next rainy season, no dry not on any of the tires. This car spent most it's life in inland Southern California, so no rust. As you can see in the pics and video, the car has been well maintained. With the exception of the front bumper being repainted, the rest of the car has original paint, still has the thin blue factory pinstripe along side of the body. Car gets waxed twice a year, and washed regularly (weather permitting). Religious oil changes with Motorcraft oil and filter, transmission services and I've recently serviced differential when doing the bearings, it has Lucas gear oil in it. The interior is in very nice shape (the ash tray cover still opens and closes on the console, most fox bodies I've seen are broken by now) and all seats were cleaned and extracted not long after buying the car. Used seat covers after seats were cleaned and extracted and just took them off for the pictures. We don't have pets and the car hasn't been smoked in since she's owned it. No unpleasant odors in the interior. With the exception of the power door locks (the locks still work by key and manually) EVERYTHING on this car works! The car had aftermarket keyless entry when it was bought and I disabled it but never got around to rewiring it. Car is mechanically sound, no fluid leaks, strange noises or check engine light. Car never runs hot and as matter of fact the only time the cooling fan turns on is when the A/C is on or if you're sitting in lots of traffic. Car doesn't use oil between oil changes either. I have gotten a best of 31 MPG on the highway with this car, on average about 27 MPG. I've worked on and owned a few cars and this Mustang is the best I've witnessed as far as dependability. I seriously wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, so you can fly in and drive it home. I have extra modules and multi-function relays along with a brand new door handle and some misc interior pieces (pictured) I'll be including for the new owner. You could jump on the V8 swap bandwagon if you get this car, or leave it as is and have a reliable and economical car that's easy to wrench on, they don't make em like this anymore. And finding any Fox Body that isn't unmolested and totally clapped out by now isn't easy anymore. I can deliver the car within 400 miles of 97526 at a fee of 50 cents per mile. Car and delivery fees must be paid for before delivery. I'm willing to sell to buyers out of the country as well and have a pretty flexible schedule currently to work with your choice of shipper if the car needs to be shipped. To be clear, shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I have done my best to describe this car, please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
