1967 Ford Fairlane Fairlane Conv

this auction is for a 1967 fairlane xl convertible, I am selling it for my dad, he is almost 70 years old. there is so much great about this car. he barely drives it enough to keep the battery charged, this would be a car that would win trophies at local car shows. the motor and trans is rebuilt, the interior, carpet, dash pad, seats, top, door panels, they are all new. guess we didn't have a pic with the top down, if need we can take one, the top is power, and works just as it should, and it is really a tight fit when up. he did take out the points, and put in a electric module, the am radio does not work, but the blue cold light still comes on when first started, and the seat belt light still work. the glass is all good, and roll up and down. it has power steering, but not power brakes, but it still stops without much effort. this car was, for a while, on the showroom, at a ford dealer. the paint is all very nice, in and out, the underneath is as clean as the top, we don't have a lift to take pics of that. he also did not like the rims that are on the car, but he ordered new 3 bar spinners for them, and just with that made the difference for him. thought we had a pic of that, if needed we can get it, the tires have almost new tread on them, the car rums and drives great, no shakes, or unusual noises. it has nice chrome, the bumpers are new. this is a car you might would try and drive home, but again it really is too nice, it has been probably more than 20 years since it even rained on it, and it doesn't set out in the sun, there are no faded spots. it has been in a garage, the last 2 owners. it is kinda dusty right now, from being in the garage, but cleans up excellent. he has a new in the box, factory style truck mat, still in the box, we didn't get a pic of the truck, but it looks as good as the car, there is a spare and a jack. the motor is the289, and he thinks the trans is the c4. the speedometer shows 86K and may be the right miles after talking to the previous owner, but may also not be right, after 50 years, anything would be possible. he has 2 or 3 more cars, he will put on auction here, since he if selling his home with the 5 car garage, and losing that storage space, the car is located in a small town in okla. called ripley, the zip is 74062, I did fine the wheel pic, and included it, of coarse all 4 look the same.
