1923 Ford Model T

"The SlingBucket" started life out as a Detroit Commerce body, custom built frame. Has halcraft spindle mount spoke wheels. Rolls suicide with Wilwood 4 piston calipers and 11" rotors out back. Has a built full manual 57 Chevy aluminum powerglide/shorty glide with 1.87 planetary and a JW ultrabell and a BossHogg 8" 3200 stall converter. Lincoln 9" with 33 spline axles steel yoke and coupler that uses two u-joints. Has Pete and Jakes ladder bars and 3800 air bags with panhard bar. Engine started life as a 240 and is the same block as a 300 but more nickle content. Has 300 based ratating internals but uses 390FE based piston and makes 10-1. Has arp head studs arp rods arp main studs. Rods are shot peened Crank is lightened and balanced under 0.5 grams. Cylinder head has 2.05 1.65 valves 7/16" screw in studs and big block Chevy 1.7 roller rockers with lash caps and 3/8" studs. Cam is a .574 lift 300 duration with 105 lobe separation. Engine has a steel gear set not phenolic. Intake is a ultra rare Clifford that only saw limited production in the 70's. Has 3 Holley 2300 7448 carbs. Custom linkage that is no progressive. It is a torque monster and hooks up in dirt. This car takes a driver that is brave and likes to set off car alarms. It's a little bounce but most T-buckets with buggy springs are. Steering has to be timed carefully when driving because of riding so far back. Super fun to drive. Hard to take anywhere without people trying to take pictures and run you off the road to talk and see the car. Will foot brake the 12's the way it sets. With line lock and a brake would make a difference in the quarter but built for the street and to turn heads. Buyer is responsible for pick up and or delivery.
