Description:

1965 Ford F-100 Police Interceptor

I bought this F100 in Carlisle Pa in 2016. It is a completely rust free California truck that had 34000 miles on the odometer. It has a North Carolina Title since I bought it from a dealer. This truck had a 6 cylinder with 3 speed manual transmission and a 9 inch rear. The frame was completely stripped and the original front suspension was replaced with a 2008 Crown Vic Police Interceptor suspension complete with rack and pinion steering, complete new front struts and springs, new disc brakes, ball joints etc. The rear end was replaced with the 8.8 Police Interceptor rear end retaining the original leaf springs. I retained the 4 wheel disc brake set up and eliminated the antilock brake system. The alignment was done with the 2008 Crown Vic specs. The Police Interceptor 4.6 engine and transmission were installed along with the wiring harness, PCM, BCM and power distribution box, all uneccesary wires were removed. All work was professionally done and this truck looks and drives like it was born this way. I have put over 3000 trouble free miles on this truck since the build. It has a leather bench seat with armrest and cupholders, it has 3 shoulder belts and a decent stereo. It has a chrome tilt steering column. The DLC port was retained and can be used for diagnostics, the emissions system including the 4 cat converter set up was retained and it will pass 50 state emissions with no issues. This is what I call a Resto Mod. It retains the best of the old combining it with todays technology. If you want a turnkey truck that not only looks good but goes, stops and handles excellent and is fun to drive then this is the truck for you, it looks as good or better underneath, everything has been professionally coated and I have a build book with over 100 pictures while it was in progress. My reserve is very fair but this is not a cheap truck, compare and I think you'll find this is a great value. Any questions can be answered by calling 207-944-1604 from 8am to 8pm est.
