1987 Ford Mustang GT
1987 Ford Mustang GT T-Top 5sp 77k.The car is overall great shape for being 28 years old. A car with this color combo it being a t-top and low miles are nearly impossible to find. It has been stored winters. There is absolutely no rust on the car. Never smoked in.This car pulls hard and sounds incredible. Clean title in-hand.I bought this car in 2010 in Janesville WI.Upgrades:3:73 GearsFull Exhaust: Headers catless h-pipe flowmaster mufflersRoller rockersComp Polymers intakeCAIOptima Yellow Top batteryCenterforce clutchSVE short throw shifterTubular upper and lower rear control armsFirewall clutch cable adjusterHigh torque starter20% Window tint installed by Tint FactorySub-frame connectorsPanasonic head unit with Bluetooth capabilitiesNew speakers in doors and rearParts that have been replaced since 2010U-jointsPinion sealOutput sealRear wheel bearings/sealsMotor mountsClutch cableValve cover gasketsUpper & lower intake gasketsExhaust manifold gasketsThermostatRear main sealThrowout bearingIgnition switchStarter solenoidIgnition cylinderT-top felt sealsBlack headlinerReplaced rear tires 2 years ago with Falkens.Clear 6-piece headlightsLX taillightsDrivers side window motorLock actuatorsBrake master cylinderPassenger side window motorNew leather shifter boot and shifter surround.LED dash lightsWith it being 28 years old there are things that could be fixed.I think one of the rear axles maybe slightly bent. At highway speeds the rear vibrates and slow turns causes a noise from the rear brakes. A place in MO has axles for $60. The gears whine a bit but I have driven like this since I bought it.If the clutch is released real slow in second occasionally it will pop out of gear; doesn't happen any other times. Shifts normal during normal driving. There is a dent in the hood the size of a pancake but not deep. Hard to see unless looking for it.Everything for the a/c is intact but does not work. Haven't needed since I've owned it.The drivers side door speaker cover is chipped at the top as it slide down and I shut the door on it.Fuel gauge works until it gets to about half tank and then goes nutty. I think it needs a new slosh module.I also have extra stock hood fenders and GT body kit pieces that can go with the car. Any questions please ask. I am trying to be as clear on the car as I don't want the new buyer to have any surprises.Car is for sale locally and can cancel if car is sold before auction ends.I am only selling because I purchased a 2014.
