1958 Ford Thunderbird
Western Car
2-owner
Original Motor and Transmission

Once again Top Shelf Reps is excited to offer up you this stunning 1958 Ford Thunderbird 2-door coupe. This car has been with its second owner for the last 30 years and he is now going to give you the opportunity to be the 3rd! This T-Bird ismostly original and has primarily been a western car till recently brought to Florida. The Thunderbird was originally bronze with red interior. In 1986 aminor restoration was done to the car, the paint was changed to a beautiful white and the interior to match with black interior. Recently the door jams, and underneath the hood have been touched up. The chrome on the car looks great as you can see from the pictures. The three pieces of chrome on the door, the hood bullet ornament, and the nose piece have all been replaced.Recently a new set of fender skirts were bought; one needs a new spring. Theoriginal locking gas cap and keys are with the car but the trunk lock is missing and will need replaced. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, the owner would rate both the chrome and paint a 7. As you can see from thepictures that this Bird shows well.
The original “H” code 352ci300hp and Cruse-o-Matic transmission have both been completely rebuilt. The352ci v-8 motor starts up and runs very strong with the four barrel carb! Thetransmission shifts nice and smooth, up and down. The car has 123,000 original miles, 100 of those being added since the engine rebuild. The four wide walltires are new and have many miles of enjoyable smooth driving on them. TheClassic Bird has power steering, power brakes, A/C that works, power windows(just refurbished), and a brand new battery this past June. The power steeringpump leaks and needs to be replaced.
The black vinyl interior looks great! The cash, headliner, carpet, and doorskins are in very good condition. All the windows work, but the radio doesnot. The brake lights and blinkers are all original and may need a littlework. All the gauges and knobs are the originals and look good.
This car has been in storage for many years and with a new battery recently fired right up and isready to go! This 1958 T-BIRD would make a great addition to any collector or first time classic car buyer and will catch the eye of people when drivingdown the street.
