Description:

1965 Ford F-100 Base

You are buying a true "Farm Find" Classic F100 truck w/ just over 40,000 miles. I purchased it a couple years ago from the original owners family in South West Missouri. Grandpa ordered it new in 1965. It was driven around the farm, to town for feed, Sunday church and haircuts. Its about as original as you will find right down to the original red gas cap & floor mat. This is a base truck. No radio, one side mirror & one sun visor. Tailgate has been replaced as well as the seat recovered last year. The 4 original dog dish hub caps are also included. The 15" wheels are orig. and have been blasted and painted satin black. This truck was Special ordered with Ford's (new for 1965) 300 inline 6 cyl said to be one of Fords best motors. It starts right up and runs strong. Burns NO oil. Transmission is the 3 speed on the column and shifts like new. NOTE: This truck has many farm dents and dings. Look at all pictures closely. A sheet of steel has been welded in the bed as shown. There are NO rust holes to be found except under the sheet in the bed. Original paint with surface rust ( Cool Patina ). The floor, cab mounts and rocker panels are solid and rust free. The shocks, rear brake lines/hoses and parking brake cables are all new this year. I have new front brake hoses for it. A great 52 yr old survivor. You won't be sorry you bought this one. It turns heads wherever its driven. Leave it original as I did or convert it to a Rat Rod or cool Shop Truck. Sold as is. Located 50 miles East of St Louis in So Illinois. I'll answer all questions ASAP. Due to vacation there is limited times in the next 2 weeks to pick it up. We can work around that. Don't miss a chance to own this cool classic original FORD truck.
