1932 Ford 3 Window Coupe

The photos don't capture it, but the Blaze Red paint on this 1932 Ford 3-window coupe is simply spectacular. The rest of the car ain't too shabby, either, with a great-running 350 Chevy, a leather-lined interior with all the amenities, and a cool '60s look that make this car ready for just about anything. At this price, you already know the body is fiberglass, but it's just beautifully done. It's a Hastings Fiberglass piece with a 3-inch top chop, so it has that classic old-school hot rod look that everyone loves. Full fenders not only make it look substantial, but also keep it legal just about everywhere in the world, so if you love hot rods, this one won't give you any hassles. It's freshly built and that brilliant red paint is no joke; it practically burns your eyeballs when you see it in person. Of course, underneath the 'glass is beautifully prepped, the gaps are exact, and the 3-piece Rootleib hood (steel, of course) fits better than Henry's own. Twin yellow pinstripes are the only real adornment on the body, mirroring the original look, but otherwise it's smooth and clean. King Bee-style headlights on a dropped part, smoothie side mirrors, and cool billet taillights all make it look traditional without taking anything away from the build. This is how you do it right. The stunning tan leather interior is so nice that you might want to make this rod your daily driver. Pleated upholstery looks suitably vintage and the door panels have been stitched to match, giving it a very period correct look that doesn't seem to be trying too hard. The body-colored dashboard has a simple gauge panel with simple, round VDO gauges, and there's a custom center stack with the HVAC controls and AM/FM/CD stereo system. The custom LaCarrera steering wheel was wrapped in matching tan leather and it hangs on a tilt column, so you'll find it easy to get comfortable. Other amenities include power windows and locks, seat belts, and neatly fitted leather boots around the Lokar shifter and E-brake. And for touring, this coupe includes a decent-sized trunk with matching upholstery and carpets to really finish it off nicely.350 cubic inch Chevy V8 power is hard to beat for simplicity, reliability, and maintenance. It's also a perfect fit in the '32 Ford engine bay, which didn't require a custom firewall that eats legroom. There's an Edelbrock carburetor up top, bright aluminum valve covers, and matching red paint on the engine itself so it looks great when you open the hood. The accessories are tucked in tight to the block and include a PowerMaster alternator and a polished A/C compressor. Block-hugging headers dump into a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and megaphone exhaust tips, so it looks and sounds like the 1960s all over again. The TH350 3-speed manual transmission, driveshaft, and Ford 9-inch rear end have all been painted to match the bodywork; in fact, everything under the car has been painted Blaze Red save for the exhaust system and some of the fasteners, so it looks pretty trick. A-arms and coil-overs hold up the front end and with rack-and-pinion steering, it feels quite contemporary. In back, a modified 4-link with coil-overs keeps the rear wheels heading straight. Front disc brakes, a frame-mounted transmission cooler, and a custom gas tank all make this a rod that drives as good as it looks. Beautiful polished Torque Thrust wheels look awesome and have a set of staggered 205/75/14 front and 215/75/15 rear whitewall radials for a great '60s appeal. With just 4944 miles on the build, this is a fresh rod with jaw-dropping paint and all the amenities that you'd want. Get in and drive, this one is ready to rock. Call today!
