For Sale is a well optioned, erformance oriented 1969 Big Block Ford Mach 1 Mustang. It is an original 390 big block, -Speed toploader Manual Transmission car. It currently has a 3.50:1 traction-lok or positive traction differential. The original paint color is Candy Apple Red with black-out accent hood. It has chrome wheels with chrome rings and chrome dog dish center caps. It has power steering, nd power front disc brakes. All steering and brake components are new - lines andhoses included. All new fuel lines.

This is a RARE Mustang. Ford installed a 390 in Mustangs only in years 67-69, nd the 390 was available in only the first year of the Mach 1 - 1969. As mentioned above this one has the 4-Speed Toploader (pronounced bulletproof, ock crusher - they're tough) Transmission, nd a 9-Inch 3.50: Traction-Lok Differential.

This car is an Authentic Big Block S-Code Mach 1:
- Marti Report Included
- Buck Tag VIN Present
- Dash/Cowl VIN Present
- Buck Tag and Cowl VINs Match
- Reinforced Big Block Shock towers are present

The driver's door/door tag are not original to the car, ut I have ordered a replacement door tag from Marti Autoworks along with the Deluxe Marti Report that comes with the car. I don't see a VIN on the fender/apron area. I had a Q-Code car that was exactly the same; everything was in place, ut no VIN visible on the fender/apron. I'm chasing an R-Code car; I realized after buying the Q-Code Car and this S-Code along with my brother that it would cost as much to do interior and body work to a non R-Code car as it would to restore an R-Code car - that's the only reason this car is for sale. The rumble of the 390-V8 and the moan of the 4-Speed toploader when I drive this car makes keeping it very tempting.

This is a running, riving car with current registration and insurance; however it is NOT used for daily commute - lights and electrical needs restoration.

This is a project car with an excellent start, utneeds to be finished. The engine runs strong andclean - absolutely no smoke; the 4-Speed shifts smoothly through all gears. It needs the body and interior work done. What gives it an excellent start on the restoration?

As for the work to be completed, he car comes with a complete left floor pan. There is some rust in the left floor; I don't know if patching or complete replacement is necessary. There is a patch that came with the car for the left apron near the firewall, ehind he brake proportioning valve - it needs to be welded in place. The left torque box has some rust where the emergency brake cable runs trough. This can be chipped away and primed. If someone wanted to hide this imperfection even more, guess it could be filled with a welding rod and ground smooth. The driver's door has rust on the bottom corner of the opening end. There aresome pin holes on the right quarter panel along the right side of the trunk opening. This is a very solid car, ut it needs some body work.

The dash has already been re-padded. The front seats are in good driver condition. The rear seat needs to be re-done. There is no carpet in the car. There is no headliner. Much of the interior trim it there; there could be some missing pieces.

This is a 46-year old car; there is NO Warranty. Any deposit is Non-Refundable.
