1977 Ford F-150 XLT

The down and dirt about this truck. I bought it with hopes of getting it road worthy and use it as my go in the woods truck and not worry about scratching the paint. This is my number three truck, I really do not need it at this point. So, I'd like to sell the ole girl 40 years old this year.Details. The motor is a 400, starts and runs very well. Has a four barrel Edelbrock with a small riser. New filters. New: plugs, wires, condenser, battery and cables, new cab lights installed with a toggle twitch, new fan motor, new master cylinder and brake lines. Newrotors, bearings and seals, new brake calipers and pads, new insulator bushings, new radius arm bushing, new shocks. On the rear brakes everything new minus the drums.
Now the down side. I had a clow, I say clown rather than what he really is, a swindler and I have proof, pictures and receipts for parts he didn't install but charged me for. In the process he attempted to steal parts off my truck for his truck. He told me I needed a new transmission. After catching him inseveral lies that he blamed on employees,I called a tow truck to remove my truck. I suspect he did something to the transmission. Because it would pull at one point, as I came to check on the progress. I had a friend get under the truck, he says it looks like someone has loosened the bolts. So, I do not know. But worst case the transmission would have to be rebuilt. To me it seems like maybe the linkage is either disconnected or messed with. I'm sell the ole girl with mixed emotions on the deal. Being messed over twice trying to get the work done has left me upset. So rather than take it and have the transmission worked, at this point I'd just rather sell it. I have a full extra front clip with the truck and two extra doors with glass all good, smitty barsneed to be installed. Thetruck is located at 63966 zip code for a transport company. I can keep the truck here for a reasonable amount of time, 30-60 days not an issue. No storage fees. And I will help load it when the times comes. The winning bidder must post a $500.00 deposit, non refundable within 48 hours of the sale. The balance in 15 days. And then make arrangements with me for pickup. If you have any questions or would like more pictures, if you're serious just ask. Thanks for your time. I do have a clear MO title in my name. I have started the bidding at what it will take to buy the truck NO RESERVE. That price includes what I have been out of pocket, breaking even, sort of.
