1971 Ford Maverick

Selling this very nice 1971 Ford Maverick for a friend of mine. He is in his 80s and can no longer drive so he his selling his cars. This car is super nice and has been very well cared for. He's always parked it inside and only driven it to local car shows. It has had one re-paint of the original color. There are 2 small scratches on the passenger side front fender that should be pretty easy to fix. I looked all over and under this car and cannot find any rust. The body is very straight and the paint is still very shiny. The chrome/trim is all very nice for it's age. The rear bumper and some very slight pitting but from a few feet away looks great. The interior is mint. I could not find any tears or problems. The radio and all controls work as they should. All glass is good with no cracks or hazing. Doors open and shut like new.The engine is completely stock but has a Clifford valve cover and a newer split exhaust manifold with true dual exhaust. The car sounds really good. It has been sitting in my shop for a week or so and I have not seen any leaks underneath. Car fires right up and runs really good. I would not be afraid to drive this thing anywhere. The owner was always very meticulous about his cars. Also comes with the original sales brochure which is pretty cool. All in all, this is a very nice example of a 71 Ford Maverick. It would be hard to find another one in nicer condition that hasn't undergone a complete restoration. These things are only original once and this car still retains a ton of it's originality. Selling with a very low reserve. We have a clear Ohio title. Car will not leave until all funds have cleared. Buyer responsible for any/all shipping. Please email with any questions. Thanks for looking!
