1973 Ford Mustang Base Convertible 2-Door

This 1973 Mustang has the last of the big boy 351 Cleveland motors in her - the previous owner had the motor overhauled and it is very powerful.
The vehicle is driven every day and starts right up, stops on a dime and has (knock on wood) never given me a problem whatsoever.
This pretty girl has a laundry list of RARE factory creature comfort options as follows:
- Tinted Windows
- Tilt Steering Wheel
- All 4 Power Windows
- SelectAire Air Conditioning / Ice Cold (converted to R134a)
- Power Convertible Top
- Power Steering
- Power Disc Brakes (Front)
- Tachometer / Trip / Ammeter / Oil Pressure / Water Temp (Sport gauge pack)
- Center Console with lid
- NASA style hood with mock air inductions
- Convenience Group Lights
- Intermittent Windshield Wipers
- Color Keyed Racing Mirrors
- C-6 Select Shift Automatic Transmission
- 2.75 Traction-Lok Rear Axle
These are the new items as well as the overhauled items on her:
- There was a complete $1500 overhaul done on the transmission
- The dash circuit board was overhauled
- The brakes were completely overhauled
- All seatbelts are new and work perfectly
- There are new front and rear window motors and power window relay
- New MSD distributor
- New MSD Blaster ignition coil
- New wood steering wheel
- New throaty exhaust
- New AC lines (R134a converted)
Included of course will be the Marti Report on this vehicle which will tell you all about when and where this particular vehicle was built.
As you can see from the pictures, she looks like a million bucks - but keep in mind, she has had some work done on her way before my time and the old restoration is beginning to show- there are the typical nicks and chips here and there. The paint, although stunning from 10 feet, is starting to show it's age as well. Keep in mind, this is a 44 year old classic car that we drive every single day. This isn't a trailer queen that is going to cost you $25,000 just so it can be stored away and never enjoyed.
She has had her interior dyed black over the years and although it still is in great shape, there are spots that need to be retouched here and there. The motor is solid and as I said before, pretty darn fast! I have noticed a few drops of oil here and there - I'm no mechanic but I think she's in need of valve cover gaskets possible (?). The AC was converted over to R134a and blows ICE COLD here in Florida - I have a brand new fan blower to go with her as the original one likes to whine for the first minute when you turn on the air.
All gauges work. All lights work as well as blinkers but reverse lights need to be hooked back up - the undercarriage has a few spots that I could see - NPD and other places sell any patch pieces for real inexpensive - the trunk looks nice and has the classic Ford plaid trunk mat.
I have a clean Florida title in my name in my hands - this car is for sale locally as well.

Please email me with ANY and ALL questions PRIOR to bidding.I am NOT a body guy nor am I a mechanic, I just love to drive old classic cars with my family!

Thank you and GOOD LUCK!
