1964 1/2 Mustang Convertible with V-8 260

1964 Ford Mustang

Red on Red with white top. V-8 260 with Auto Trans. Runs and drives good. Front disk brakes, power steering, power roof, dual exhaust. Good condition and all around reliable car. No rust. Car is from Texas and covered for 25 years. 122,000 miles. Same owner since 1985.

On May-22-17 at 17:10:03 PDT, seller added the following information:

Additional information asked from bidders:1) I will post pictures later today of the car with the top up, windows up, inside of trunk and undercarriage.2) The only item that does not work is the radio. The gas gauge will show a 3/4 tank even when it is full but shows when it is empty, etc. Lights, blinkers, horn, top, power steering, etc. work.3) The gas tank was replaced several years ago. The seats were recovered about two years ago and I replaced the seatbelts at the time as well. I also upgraded the car to an electronic ignition. Also included is a car cover. The carpet is about 5 years old.4) Per my mechanic the engine and trans is org to the car. I have not personally confrimed it but I beleive it to be the case.

Additional information asked from bidders:5) Picture of Vehicle Warranty Plate - I now have a picture of the plate but I can not load it because I reached my max. Upon request I will send over a picture if I receive the request early enough in the process.6) What is my buy it now price: I do not have one, if the car does not reach the reserve then it will not sell.7) Does the car have any rust? Yes, there is evidence of rust. I do not know the full extent but can tell you that one bidder who viewed the car pointed out some from the inside of the driver door and had concerns about the floor pans. 8) How old is the paint? I had it painted about 7 or 8 years ago. It is a relatively inexpensive paint job. Please note, this is not a show car, it is a driver. The car is +50 years old which means it has sweaks, leaks, door dings, rust and other flaws. I can verify it runs and drives but I am not a mechanic.
