1965 Ford Mustang Roaring Resto-Mod Built from the Ground Up
This 1965 Roaring Resto-Mod Built from the Ground Up Mustang is in tremendous condition and ready to enjoy right away. If you're looking for a fast, agile classic muscle car that still stays true to its heritage, then there's just no comparison to other examples within this price point. It's a true steal.
Rebuilt for sizzling performance, this is a true American muscle car. This beauty was stripped down to a bare shell about 10 years ago. NO significant body or frame rust to begin with, all surfaces were prepared and sealed with POR-15 before shipping out for paint.
Everything is here to enjoy immediately and was built the right way from bumper to bumper. We also have a very good history on this classic with countless service receipts to show it's been cared for properly.
One turn of the key and the strong hipo 302 V8 fires right up with just a few pumps of the gas pedal when cold. Engine was acid-dipped 302 block. New HiPo rods & pistons with Hastings rings were used along with a new gear-driven, high profile Edelbrock cam. The Trick Flow high compression aluminum heads are topped with a dual plane Quick Fuel Street Performer carb meters the gas coming from an electric fuel pump system.
New The T5 Transition conversion operates smoothly. Great looking JME Performance gauges add character along with gleaming chrome bumpers in fantastic shape with no pitting or chrome wear. This Mustang really has been a blast to drive and absolutely turns heads everywhere you go!
New rear leaf springs were added along with KYB gas shocks on all four corners. Stainless Steel Brake Corp. slotted rotors and calipers now make stopping safe and quick! New front-to-back subframe connectors were also welded in place giving necessary stiffness and support to the convertible's frame.
