Description:

1965 Ford Mustang Coupe 2 door

Bought her 9.5 years ago and drove for about 4 years before starting to restore her. I started doing the body work, but will be leaving the country soon and don't have time to finish.

Put everything back together for the pictures besides the hard pieces that you will need to take back off anyway. All the chrome/emblems are included. Posted a pre resto pic so you have an idea of the initial quality.

Driven her in and out of the garage over the years, but wouldn't trust her on the road with the old tires.Starts and runs well. Once in a while she lets a bit of smoke out on start, but clears up immediately.

All the primed areas were stripped down to the bare metal first (had 2 layers of paint/primer). Mostly mechanically with a DA, especiallynear any holes and side areas, chemicallyelsewhere. Used Rage gold for any filler. Did not finish all the bodywork in the primed areas. Some still need cleaning up and I only got the paint off the drivers side door, there was some bondo I didn't get to remove.

New passenger fender, still needs some alignment. Bunch of random screws need replacing as the previous owners apparentlyjust used what they could find.

Haven't found any cancer besides minor surface rust in a few places. Front passenger doorhas bondo and in the frontbottomcorner there may be enough bondo that it's hiding your standard cancer hole ~3" out. Probably driven by an old lady as most panels havedents/scrapes. Thedrivers side quarter panel was pretty beat up.Accidentally broke the passenger headlight.

Ac worked when I bought, but has since leaked out. Guessing the compressor is still good, but no way to test.

Most seems original, but haven't looked at the numbers, can get details if you want. The water pump, radiator, front fenderand fuel pump are not original/oem. I'm pretty sure the floor pans have been replaced. Also having an issue with the trunk key not turning the lock (trunk is not closed), I know it was working before, but haven't had time to play with it.

Paid off, have the title in hand.

Please ask any questions before bidding. Tried to describe everything I can think of. If you want more pictures of anything, please let me know. As for transportation, obviously just primed, so enclosed will be best, plus the rear window is not fixed in place, but canbe put inside for local transport.

$500 DEPOSIT IS REQUIREDIMMEDIATELY AFTER AUCTION ENDS AND FULL BALANCE WITHIN A WEEK. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO DO THIS, PLEASEDO NOT BID. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SHIPPING COSTS................................NO RESERVE.
