Price: - Item location: Troy, Michigan, United States
Description:

1974 Ford F-250 Ranger

1974 Ford F250 Ranger. It would be so cool to haul your nostalgia race car with! Washington state truck until three years ago, so no rust ever! I have the old title, plates and shipping papers to prove it. Believed to be 49K original miles, even the jack is under the hood and the crank for it is under the seat as it should be. This truck appears to have had light duty all its life and has always been garaged. She’s still wearing the factory paint except for the right side of hood and right rear quarter panel (minor bumps that were ironed out years ago). Rare color (Bright Lime). The truck is yellow out in the sun, but green in florescent light. There is one bump on passenger door edge and one on the top of front bumper. Both look worse in the pics than they are. This truck is still yellow in the fender wells! Stock 360 V8 except for an Edelbrock 4 bbl carb and intake. C6 automatic, Dana 60 rear end, power steering and power disk brakes. This truck came with the larger Camper Special disc brakes, which are all new front and rear including calipers, rotors, pads, bearings, seals, drums, shoes and hardware. I had to replace the factory 38 amp alternator and voltage regulator last summer and upgraded with correct 60 amp units. Dealer installed camper shell, which still has the Ford part number sticker inside, is original to the truck. New western style windshield (has both tinted glass and has blue stripe at the top). Seat completely rebuilt including springs, 3 thicknesses of foam and custom made vinyl covers that look very close to factory original. The dash is all factory original and very nice. Mint 92-97 F250 Ford Alcoa aluminum rims, with brand new NOS Ford caps and brand new tires ($ 2K just in the rims and tires alone). Truck also comes with the factory steel rims, trim rings, hubcaps and excellent tires. Everything works except the horn and the face of the radio. Runs and drives very well. The only thing I know it needs is a new rag joint between the steering box/column (about $54 bucks and an hour of work). I’m only selling it because I have my eye on another F250. You’re welcome to call Weekends or Evenings before 10pm. Not interested in trades or help any selling it. The title and truck will not be released until your funds clear my bank. Thanks for looking and happy bidding on this great F250!
