1969 Ford Fairlane Formal Roof

This car brings a smile to my face every time I get behind the wheel. It's shiny, torquey, and noisy. I just love that pedal on the right, and I use it all the time - so much fun! Just a little secret between you and me - sometimes I cackle with delight after an especially loud and quick acceleration from a stoplight. This flashy car GOES!
I bought the car in 2000, fresh out of college, the first car I bought with my own money. It was straight and clean, but faded and a little tattered. Supposedly the car had been stored in a barn for the 15 previous years, bought for a girl who didn't like it, so she parked it.
I had restoration work done one job at a time as I had time and money, and drove it frequently from 2005 to 2007. It was in and out of storage from then until 2012 as my secondary car. I moved to Bolivia in 2012 and the car was stored in a barn in Washington state until Sep 2015, when I had it sent to me here in Tennessee. It's been my daily driver since then. The odometer says 85,600 miles.
The car has never been wrecked, though I did drive the passenger side rocker panel up on a low, large metal hoop at a gas station before getting the car repainted in 2005. It was fixed in that repaint. Here are some more details:
