Description:

1966 Ford Mustang

Up for sale is a beautiful classic American icon!!!
Originally out of the factory as an economical 6cyl Mustang this beauty now sports the upgraded hi-po 289ci V8 and a floor shifted 3 speed manual transmission.
This Mustang doesn't only look good, it runs excellent as well!! Starts right up with just a bump of the key and drives great for being 50 years old.
No leaks, no smoke, no hesitation, no overheating, or stumbling! This lil 289 is upgraded with performance in mind and is super dependable.
Upgrades include performance HEI distributor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, aluminum intake manifold and Holley performance electric choke carburetor.
Transmission shifts smoothly and clutch engages firmly, giving this Mustang an exciting and fun combination. Super fun to drive!!
All gauges and lights work and only needs radio to be hooked up to operate again. Other upgrades include beautiful 18" chrome plated aluminum five spoke wheels and low profile performance street tires.
Very solid car with solid frame and body, but it does have some corrosion on both rear wheel wells and smaller areas here and there. The door panels were taken off in order to replace both window regulators but were never actually installed so the panels and new regulators come with it.
This Mustang has tons of potential!!! This is a running and driving classic car that is dependable enough to enjoy driving around town or in between restoration. Don't miss out on your chance to own a piece of American history with one of the most famous and sought after pony cars there ever was.
Any other questions just ask and I'll do my best to answer as soon as I can. Good luck!!
Please note that although in great overall shape, this vehicle is 50 years old and that should be taken in consideration when purchasing such a classic car. I believe that this car was restored sometime in the 90's, but not 100% sure. I say that because there is some wear and tear on it inside and out. The paint although looks great up to a point, it is faded and will most likely need a freshening up in the near future. The interior will also need some attention as there are several areas where tears and/or holes have occurred on the seats and headliner. The Mustang is being sold as is and any information that I have given here is simply a description based on driving it and owning it for several months.
