1971 Ford Mustang MACH 1

1971 Ford Mustang Fastback

"Real Deal" Mach 1

This is a rare original numbers matching 1971 Ford Mustang true "MACH 1" car. It sits nicely suited in its medium gold color exterior with the optional Mach 1 "Luxury Ginger" interior. The engine is also the factory 351 'RAM AIR' motor. It runs excellent and is matched toits "X" code FMX three speed automatic transmission that shifts nice and smoothly. The car is also nicely optioned with power steering, power brakes, etc. and is a very enjoyable experience to drive!! In fact, its a turn key car that will take you anywhere and receives admiration where ever you go!!
Everything on the car is in great working order. It is ready to go enjoy with recent new fluids, new brakes, and a tune-up. Contained inside of the trunk is also a spare tire along with its matching jack and tire wrench. The carpet has some fading in spots and the paint is still shiney on the body with a few flaws considering its a forty-five year old vehicle. The car can puff a bit at start-up after sitting for a long period of time but clears up in minutes. I would also recommend updating the exhaust in the near future as it is likely near the end of its service life. Otherwise, there are no known issues with the car. The body and undercarriage of the car are also incredibly solid and very nice. The tires are recent and still show new, as well. This Mach 1 isexceptionally classy and turns heads everywhere you go as it breaths the 1970'sas it sits!! It has won numerous Mustang classes and cruise shows in the last few years.
