While the original Shelby GT500 had a 427 CID engine, this super-snake has been over-sized with a big-block 588 CID Roush Racing built V8 that runs on pump gas. Of course the upgrades only begin with the engine. Keeping the beast cool is a 4 row aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. A Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission accepts the massive torque produced by the engine. The rear-end is a Fab 9 housing fitted with a Mosher 3.25 positive traction 3rd member which will not let you down. Strange 31 spline axles send the power to the 17-inch Eleanor style wheels all fitted with new Goodyear rubber. You can rest easy knowing a Viper security system has your baby protected from the bad guys.
