1968 Ford Torino GT

1968 Ford Torino GT
Priced to sell. Numbers matching 289 with automatic transmission. Runs and drives very well. Paint looks pretty good and shiny, but there are some chips in several spots. Paint is chipping around driver side door handle, on bottom of driver side door, and on bottom of driver side fender. The rest of the paint is in really nice shape. It is the original color with a repaint on the body. Door jambs and some other locations are original paint. The engine has been dressed up and modified some. It is now a 4 barrel with Edelbrock carburetor. No power steering or power brakes. Front end has been lowered with new bearings, ie rod ends, and aligned. New heavy springs for big block ford were cut and installed properly. Aftermarket cassette player that only the radio works on. Other than that, I believe the car is all original.
Bad: Windshield has a spot in the middle where a rock or something hit it. Transmission pan leaks. The driver side exhaust manifold leaks where it connects to the exhaust. Headliner comes with but needs installed. Needs the original interior rear view mirror also. Driver side floor pan does have a spot where it rusted through and there is now a piece of sheet metal in it.
Good: Drives and runs very good. Interior is mostly in nice shape. Back seat and carpet are in very good shape. Most of the chrome on the body is in very nice shape. Dash pad is in nice shape. New alternator, starter, voltage regulator, and headlight switch. Tires are in great shape. The original GT wheels are in nice shape. Mostly rust free. There is some surface rust underneath and the spot where the driver side floor is rusted through.
Odometer reads around 13,800, so I am guessing 113,800? BUYER RESPONSIBLE to ensure this car is in satisfactory condition prior to purchase. Nice driver condition, not showroom condition. Keep in mind, this car is around 48 years old.
