Restored 1928 Ford Model A Sedan

Nice early Model A Ford Sedan for auction. Has the emergency brake on the left like its predecessor, the Model T. This car was professionally restored in 2006-7 including the body, interior, roof, motor, transmission and drivetrain. I purchased the car recently from those owners but no paperwork came with it. The car starts every time and idles flawlessly, has good power and the gears shift with little or no issue, almost as smooth as a modern car. Newer Firestone whitewall tires and spare tire hold air reliably and run true.

Custom upholstery was made from original patterns to match the exterior and beltline of the car. The seats were rebuilt and re-padded for comfort, new wood was added into the roof and a new roof was put on the car. Brand new chrome bumpers with a custom turn signal unit and were added for safety in traffic. The shock-absorbers were also all rebuilt when the car was restored.

This car has all newer wiring, hoses, plugs, rebuilt generator, starter, distributor and ignition gauges and even hasthe engine pans on both sides of the motor. Everything works on the car as it should- all lights switch on and off easily. I added a newly rebuilt Tillotson carburetor. Sometimes the speedometer stops working until I push on the cable but it probably is just a loose connection. The gas tank is in good shape but was not sealed when the car was done, so I added a new pencil filter to the tank.

Clear Illinois title in my name and this car with its two-tone green looks even nicer in person. I am changing vehicles for a growing and maturing family and don’t have room for more cars. Newer radiator that keeps the car cool, all new chrome workwith motometer.
