History

The x-CODE Mustang WAS THE 2 BBL VERSION OF THE s CODE 390 engine. According to the Marti Report, this Mustang is one of only 189 with this Engine and Transmission. This car was produced at the San Jose, CA plant and spent its entire life in CA until 2004

Engine work includes:

The original, numbers matching 390 motor w/ electronic Ford distributor was rebuilt and the edelbrock 390 performer intake was added. The block was align-bored, the main saddles magnafluxed, balanced,3 angle valve job, forged pistons, and power honed. Otherwise, this is the stock engine as it came from the factory in 1968.

Transmission and drive train work includes:

The C6 trans w/2200 stall and mild shift kit was rebuilt around 5k miles ago and trans cooler added. The Ford 9-inch rear was rebuilt with the3.50 posi-traction gears.

Interior:

The interior has been restored with the original 7a Black Knitted (Comfort Weave Vinyl) seats, carpet, and standard door panels. The radio, floor console, glass, fold down seat, and interior panels 9except the dash bezel, panels and pad) are all original
