HISTORY: I bought the car from a man a coupe of towns up from me here in east Tennessee.

TITLE: Clear Tennessee title with a VIN that matches the plates.

HOW IS THE ENGINE? I think it runs sweet it looks to be the original 260 cubic inch but I did not look for date codes on the casting. I hear no knocks or rattles I see no blue smoke and I see no puddles of oil under it. It has been rebuilt in years past but I have no documentation. We tuned the engine new plugs electronic point replacement adjusted the valves and such. The biggest thing we did was put a new Holley carburetor on the old one was worn I tried bulding it but it was 50 year old and junk. The new 2V Holley cost $320.

HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It is very clean on the underside I'm sure it been built in years past. Its a 3 speed automatic with the crazy green dot shifting that Ford used. Its a good transmission.

HOW IS THE PAINT? Very nice upper end driver quality I think its skyline blue. The body is straight to look down the sides I see no dents and no dings. The paint shines good with no rust bubbles that I see. I see a few touched up chips mostly on the edge of the hood. By driver quality paint I mean its not a perfect $20000 paint job like a show queen would have. It looks good you could enter you local car show and be proud but it will not win best paint at the national Mustang show. It looks good its real good for this price car.

HOW ABOUT RUST AND RUST REPAIRS? I think all the panels are original to the car. The floors look great I think as good as I have seen on a car that has not had a rotissorie restoration. The underside is no painted and detailed for a show but it is solid. I feel some weak places with a magnet test corners of doors and around wheel weel. Its like 99% of all the rest and has some filler. The cowl did not leak when I washed the car.

HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Headliner very nice dash pad no cracks door panels good but a little wavy carpet decent seat covers good with 1 small fuzzy place on the bead of the drivers seat look at the picture to see it. I see some minor chips under the instruments bezel where it has come out in years past.

HOW IS THE TIRES? Good but not new.

HOW IS THE CHROME? I consider it all nice the worst thing I see is minor pitting in the door handles. The original wire spinner hubcaps look good.

SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! OIL AND TEMP LIGHTS WORK!

HEATER BLOWER WORKS BUT IS ON A SWITCH UNDER THE DASH.

THE ORIGINAL RADIO IN NOT WORKING!

I think the air conditioning is original it works and has been converted to 134 gas.

DO THE LIGHTS WORK? Headlights work tail lights work brake lights work turn signals work under dash light works.

Horn works but you have to mash the center of the horn ring.

HOW ARE THE BRAKES? The front is a add on disc brake kit the back drums has a added power booster.

HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I think it driver real good for a early Mustang it is not power steering.

WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Here at my home/garage in Athens Tennessee 37303.
