An uncut 1st generation Bronco is hard to find. Finding one of this caliber is another story all together. This 1974 Bronco’s frame-off restoration included lining the undercarriage and an exceptional single stage paint job that included the full interior and engine compartment. No corners were cut and it was done right and it shows in the details. None of the issues are present which you would find in a cheap mask job, just look at the detailed images of the engine compartment paintwork as well as the dash area and rear wheel wells. The paint was applied over an all original, accident and rust free original metal body. Having been in California, there was no issues with road salt or humidity to degrade the metal quality. The paint receipt shows the work completed on July 23rd, 2014 at a cost of $11607.00Other NEW items include the following: wiring harness & under dash wiring, complete interior from headliner to full cab carpeting, Bronco floor mats, spare tire cover, 4 Bilstein shocks, retractable lap belts, tire rack safety cable, instruments, voltage regulator, front / rear window tracks & felts, stainless hood prop, front / rear marker lenses, turn signal relay, vent window brackets, dash pad, liftgate struts, seat latch handle, rear lap belts, Retrosound direct-fit radio w/ bluetooth & rear usb inputs w/ new in-dash speaker, rear speakers, chrome door lock knobs, sun visors and rods, wiper motor cover, air cleaner fresh air tube, custom fit bronco cover, washer bottle and washer pump, washer pigtail, fan shroud, washer hose kit w/ nozzles, carpet hold down strips (complete cab) headliner trim, 5 American Racing aluminium wheels w/ 30x9 50R15 Cooper AT tires and Magna-flow exhaust. The 302 has been rebuilt and has a mild cam that makes plenty of power and is easy starting. The running gear has also been rebuilt with a new clutch installed. This is an excellent driving Bronco. The stock suspension configuration and 2” body lift give this Bronco excellent road manners and off road capability. All lights and gauges function as designed and the power steering and manual brakes both perform well. Looking under the hood, you will not find a more stock, finely detailed engine bay. The work performed here is, once again, meticulous in nature and the presence of the original jack, handle & lug wrench really go along way in assuring the new owner of just how much time and money went into restoring this Bronco! Load up the kids and the dog and go fishing, grab your friend and go find some unexplored trails for a weekend adventure, then next week head to the car show and bring home a trophy! Be prepared to answer the endless questions from people who will love to talk to you about your new Bronco, and the “thumbs ups” from other drivers along the way!
