1967 Ford Mustang

After several months of summer fun fall is finally here. If you missed out on the opportunity to take a classic Mustang to the car shows all is not lost! Presented here and now for your consideration is a fantastic pony car that has been restored “ready for immediate enjoyment’!

Feel free to call (314) 497-9470 to discuss how you can acquire it before the next guy does!

There’s quite a bit that can be said about this limited owner 67 Mustang so I want to take a moment to give a hand full of details regarding its history, quality & overall condition!

This vintage Ford was purchased almost fifty years ago by a gentleman who was a native of Springfield Illinois.

By all accounts he was a dedicated Ford enthusiast. The Mustang that you see pictured here was used extensively as a daily driver for approximately six years. Shortly thereafter it was put on the shelf as his employment priorities changed and he moved up North.

Upon his return (around 1981) the car was sold to a local product. The second owner began to put the car to use again but on more of a limited basis. However during the fall of 1991 he set out to accomplish a full scale restoration that wouldn’t reach its climax for over a decade!

Let me say at this point that there is a litany of receipts and important information that will be passed on to the next potential owner.

Actually I will talk about one of the last things that he had done first. He recruited Marsh’s Custom Restoration shop to bring the cars exterior back to life. Since the Mustang had been garaged throughout the years by its previous owner no major body work was needed. However the decision was made right out of the gate that second best would not do so a great deal of man hours were invested to make sure it was laser straight.

The tech who painted the car is a veteran in the craft. The base coat clear coat method was used to apply the paint to the panels.

The exterior is smooth to the touch and very appealing!

When the car is in direct sunlight it has a brilliant high gloss shine! That being said at dusk it carries a deep red hue that almost looks wet!

There are no imperfections to speak of. The contour of the cars body is consistent with manufacturing specifications. The gaps and moldings are also very uniform.

This Mustang looks great from all angles!

The iconic dual louvered hood is in pristine condition & the intermittent signals actually work.

All of the chrome appointments on the car are in stellar condition!

The front & rear bumpers have been replaced with N.O.S. sanctioned reproduction ones!

The licensed fender emblems were replaced by the shop as well!

M.C.A (Mustang Club of America) approved pieces!

Each stainless rocker panel molding has been fastened properly and is free from damage.

The head light bucket trim, grille edge moldings & chrome back up light retainers look great.

Located along the body lines are a nice set of door handles & mirrors.

Standing tall and properly representing the brand is a beautiful Corral grille horse!

Both tail light bezels, stainless trim & gas cap have been refurbished to boot!

At the end of the day I feel confident giving this classic pony two thumbs up! You can’t help but pay attention to this Fire Engine Red Pony at each and every corner!

It is ready for any venue:

Now that we have talked about this vintage Mustangs exterior lets discuss what she has to offer inside!

Upon opening the door of it you will find a very accommodating interior that happens to be in immaculate condition!

The black & red contrast works well together (the perfect match)!

The seat covers are in excellent condition front and rear! The cushions provide great support along with the seat backs which are firmly attached.

Located centrally beneath you will find a perfectly woven loop pile carpet. It was replaced recently and truly helps to compliment the cockpit and rear area.

Displaying your Mustang pride will also be a cinch “thanks in part to a durable set of rubberized pony floor mats”!

From left to right you will also find wonderfully crafted black Ford door panels with new attaching hardware IE: door handles, window cranks, weatherstrip, etc.

The glove box opens and functions as it should.

Lights inside properly illuminate the cockpit when the doors are ajar.

This one looks just as good inside as it does out! It takes you back to 1967 each and every time you sit behind the steering wheel “which also happens to be in fantastic shape”!

All of the glass along with the front and rear windshield are in pristine condition “damage free”!

There is also a top notch dash pad in place!

If you are weary and or tired of classic cars with instrument gauges that don’t function properly “this is the Mustang that you have been waiting for” all gauges jump into action upon being engaged!

The car sounds awesome (60’s rumble) but you have the option of pumping up the tunes at will “the am/fm radio that is present & working”!

A classic packing tray lays in back with nice 6x9 speakers!

This vintage Ford has been treated to nothing but the best! The trunk is even been weather proofed, protected and restored for optimal usage. Both inner quarters are rust free and solid! Missouri Mustang provided a dividing tray to shield the lower drop offs from moisture.

To wrap things up in this department I believe the interior plays its part well in conjunction with the exterior. `

No stone has been left unturned to ensure quality and comfort!

Now that I have given several reasons why you should love this Ford…… Let’s talk about what makes this baby a true pony car!

No Mustang can truly be considered a free running stallion without having a factory V/8!

The heart and soul of this horse is its STOUT 289 engine. However this ain’t your standard small block!!!

This Mustang underwent an operation that really helped to give it a performance boost!!!

I think that it is important to mention at this time that this Ford is still very user friendly but it has sufficient power on tap for those who desire to use it!

The small block under the hood of this Mustang was balanced and blue printed. Some of the upgraded internals include a Comp Cam, Double Roller, Performance link and sprockets, Hypereutectic flat top pistons along with a high volume oil pump!

The block was rebuilt a couple of years ago at Ridge Johnsons Muscle Machines!

Nonetheless a good deal of work has been put into making sure that this pony is just as dependable as it is strong!

Preventative maintenance has been addressed at every turn on this one. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, belts, hoses, battery, starter, alternator, fuel pump & entirely too much more has been replaced recently!

Keeping things cool under the hood is no problem at all! A fairly new radiator has been installed along with a high temperature thermostat!

You can drive this Mustang with complete confidence!

She simply LOVES the open road!

Just driving this Ford once on the freeway “you’ll be hooked”!

The brakes are functioning proper and have been given much attention as well.

There will be revisions of Route 66 while driving this Mustang thanks in part to a super nice set of performance mufflers!

The 60’s muscle car sweet note comes by aid of chambered dual exhaust system!

Muscle car Respect is what you can expect when operating this Mustang!

All of the guys driving late model muscle cars can’t help but tip their caps when they see you on the freeway!

It feels good to know that people remember where & when all of the fun started.

To keep people everywhere honking and giving you the thumbs up a “traffic stopping set of triple chrome polished torque thrust mag wheels were installed!

You will also find a set of brand new HT Performance radials at all four corners!

This Mustang has a Bull Dog Aggressive stance that can’t be ignored!

Don’t miss out on your chance to own a quality investment at a bargain price!

You may find another pony but you will be hard pressed to find one in this condition!

The time, effort & money spent restoring this car can’t be properly measured. That being said I have set a very reasonable reserve on it! The car is being offered at a fraction of what it cost to restore it!

The best part has been saved for last!

The car is structurally sound & rust free!!

The floors, torque boxes and frame rails are all in great shape!

No matter if this is the vehicle for you or not. Don’t ruin your experience by purchasing a rusty car! Rust repair car be time consuming and very expensive. I have taken several photos to give the potential buyer some insight as to the cars condition underneath.

This is an investment grade classic car that will only continue to appreciate! Car cover included.
