In 1992 1/2, Ford made 2,193 feature option "Summer Edition" convertible Mustangs in a special vibrant red color with all white leather, white insulated top, full power and 5.0 Litre 302 with fuel injection. These cars all had pearl powdered coated finished wheels. Of the total 1,406 were auto and only 787were manual 5 speeds. No other Mustangs that year were that color, had these interiors with black piping. They also had a small tasteful air foil on thetrunkin place of the black luggage rack that all other Mustangs had.
