DESCRIPTION
This is a steel bodied Bronco that has had the fender well area cut-out, and fiberglass side door inserts and a fiberglass hood installed.
The steel parts of the body are solid, clean, and straight, and as you can see it has some light cracking in the finish where the fiberglass door inserts were installed. Fiberglass cowl style hood looks great, with only light normal marks, and it has a matte black top on the scoop to prevent glare, and twin hood pins to make sure it stays closed.
The Bronco has been painted with FORD Synergy Green paint, and has a nice shine that looks just as good clean as it does covered in mud! Yes, you’ll find some stone chips, scuff marks, and other little blemishes from being driven, but nothing that would be considered damage, and certainly nothing that would need repaired to drive and enjoy it. Look at the EXTRA-LARGE photos, and you will see that it looks good enough to take to a Sunday car show or cruise night, but it is not a 6-figure Barrett-Jackson machine!
Fender flares are in great condition, and help keep debris from flying up and splashing the sides as best they can.
Emblems and badging look good, and are original vintage Bronco goodies!
Front bumper is a custom tubular unit fit with a working QuadraTec Q9000 winch with remote control to help any of your Chevy owning friends get out of trouble!
Grill center has been Rhino-Lined for debris protection, but is straight and clean.
Headlamps and marker lights are in great condition and all work.
Rear bumper is a chrome NOS unit, and is in very good condition. Tail lamps work, and surrounds were treated to a black finish to blend in with the rest of the trucks theme.
Barbed wire pin striping down the sides of the truck is clean and looks good, but it can easily be removed if you don’t like it.
Folding rear plate frame works like it should, as does the tail gate handle.
A billet gas cap reminds you where to fill the single tank from.
The Bronco rides on 15 inch Eagle Alloy show polished 8-hole aluminum rims wrapped in practically new MICKEY THOMPSON BAJA MTZ tires size 35x12.50R15LT all around. Rims are like new, and tires have at least 75% of the useable tread left as well.
The roll cage was custom made for the Bronco, and has a double tube just behind the front seats for extra safety. Rear bar extensions, twin overhead tubes, and front down tubes round things out, and it is all covered in foam wrapped in good old-fashioned electrical tape for protection!
The bimini roof panel is clean, damage-free, and protects you from the elements while keeping you in the open air.
Windshield folds down in seconds if you want it to, and the glass is all good without any cracks or chips to be found.
Interior panels are bare metal, and it is all solid, straight, and clean and treated to a very light coating of Rhino Liner for protection and ease of cleanup.
Front racing buckets look great, and have 3-point harnesses with dual over the shoulder belts. Rear bench seat is a factory style, is in fantastic condition, and can removed in minutes if you need more cargo area.
The dash has been covered in a Blue Prism wrap that looks killer, and is very clean.
Factory switch for the headlamps works as it should, and the switch on the far left of the gauges is ready for any accessory lighting you may want to add and keep in reach.
Chris Craft quad gauge panel combines FUEL, OIL TEMP, VOLT, and TRANS TEMP in one clean unit, while the right side of the column gets a GPS fed Speedometer unit. Under the dash, a iequus Temperature gauge monitors the heat coming off the rebuilt 289 V8. Everything appears to be working as it should.
A 4-button aircraft style switch panel sits in the middle of the dash, and holds the controls for the electric fan, and room for other items you may want to add.
Above that, an ALPINE CDE-141 head unit lets you have AM/FM/CD/USB/iPOD and more at your fingertips. It sounds great because it gets routed through an under dash SPX 1200W APO9512 amplifier into two massive Marine unit speakers that made Johnny Cash sound like he was riding in the back!
A functional glove box and grab bar round out the dash.
A complete modern fuse block with cartridge style fuses was installed, and the stereo, dash lights, head lamps, tail lamps, turn signals, and marker lights works like it should.
The 4x4 shift selector gets topped by a custom skull knob, while the B&M ratchet shifter for the C4 automatic has a scary smiley face shift ball.
Stock column is capped with a 3-spoke wheel with foam rubber surround.
Pop the hood pins out and lift the lightweight fiberglass hood to reveal a clean and neat engine bay that is ready for anything.
The 289ci V8 was rebuilt a few years back, and has no known issues or items to address.
It is a mild built motor designed for long-term reliability and cruising, and it runs just fine on regular unleaded fuel.
It was dressed with green finished valve covers, starter, block, and brake booster well, and it still looks good when you pop the hood. A new carb was installed, and still looks like it just came out of the box, along with blue plug wires, new rotor, an MSD box, some billet dress-up goodies, header wrap, open element air cleaner, and all new hoses and lines.
A high flow water pump works with the massive aluminum radiator and electric fan to keep things super cool, not matter how hot it gets outside.
Inner fenders and firewall are clean and solid, and lightly sprayed with Rhino Liner for protection.
Chassis on the truck is clean and solid, but not anything you would put over a mirror at car show.
Frame is solid and straight, and the front and rear POSI units connect to the center diff with no sign of issues.
A complete exhaust from Force sounds amazing, and the truck has a nice rumble at idle with a little bark on the throttle but doesn’t get annoying at cruising speed.
Power steering and power brakes work like they should and help anyone in the family drive this beast with ease.
Steering is tight a sure, with no excess slop, wander, pulling, or issues.
Braking is clean and sure, and the truck stops without any odd pedal feel or chatter thanks to the massive disc brakes at all four corners.
Lifted springs help get it up in the air, and the ES3000 shocks keep the right nice and easy over any terrain.
The truck starts with a turn of the key, idles clean, doesn’t smoke or leave its mark, and is ready to roll when you are.
Snick the C4 into gear and hit the gas, and more than enough power is on tap to get you rolling. Shifts are clean and smooth, and the truck will happily cruise along at a GPS verified 65mph without issue!
At cruising speed, it handles great, with none of the slop or death wobbles you get in other Broncos.
In town, it cruises so nicely you might just make it your daily driver!
Power steering and brakes perform issue free and making driving a breeze.
Ride is soft enough to make highway trips a delight, but firm enough to handle things when the road gets a bit more aggressive.
It tracks straight, is easy to handle, and has no known issues to address prior to driving and enjoying it. I have personally put about 300 miles on it, and cannot stop taking it on the weekends because it is so much fun.
It doesn’t over heat, even when stuck in traffic in our 90 degree heat for 40 minutes, and it has not done anything odd or unusual during my time behind the wheel.
IT WAS PURCHASED BY US ON A VALID AND CLEAN VIRGINIA TITLE
IT WILL BE SOLD WITH THAT TITLE AND OUR 50 STATE LEGAL FLORIDA TITLE REASSIGNMENT FORM.
MILEAGE IS LISTED AS EXEMPT ON THE PAPERWORK.
