1970 Ford Torino

I am listing this car for a friend that is not on the internet. The car is located in Colorado Springs, CO.. It was parked in a garage 1991. I have a restoration shop in KS and looked the car over really good; The only rust I found is over the rear wheel on drivers side. Floors are solid. So is trunk and any structural members under the car. There is no dents, but some scratches in the original paint. I see no body work from an accident anywhere. The headlight doors are not working. Both engine and transmission were overhauled by well known quality shops and have no more than 1000 miles on them. It has been started and driven out of the garage every 6 months since parked in 1991. The owner recently changed all liquids, belts, rebuilt the carb and flushed the fuel system including the tank. The engine runs really strong with no strange noises or smoke! There is a 1991 Colorado emissions sticker on the windshield. The FMX auto. shifts fine to the 9 inch rear endand they are both nice and quiet.The car is equipped with disc brakes front, PS, PB. All four wheels has been taken off and brakes and bearings are as new now. The originalinterior with tall bucket seats has some wear, but nothing bad. The headliner needs replaced. The car comes with the original GT hood and a plain '70 Torino hood also. Original steel wheels and original hubcaps and chrome rings is also included. The tires are weather-cracked and needs to be replaced and then this car can be driven anywhere in the country! If you have any questions, call me and I will forward you to the owner. 785-477-5844
