This is a Quigley conversion 4x4. If you run the VIN, you'll see that this van started life with 2 wheel drive and a 6 cylinder engine before the 4x4 conversion. It's my guess that the speedo/odo was changed out then as well since the odo in the van doesn't match dmv. I can tell you that the conversion was very well done and I have a 100% clear title to it in my name. It's pretty much the same as I bought it and I've only put approx. 5K miles on it in the last 2 years.
It starts every time and runs excellent, 4 x 4 works excellent and the interior is excellent. Exterior is pretty good and straight with a couple flaws.
As the pics show, there are a couple small rust spots. I bought it like this and had planned on painting it but of course I haven't gotten to it. I've been able to keep these small spots at bay so far by using car wax and rust converter. The dual exhaust is starting to age. The left exhaust pipe after the rear axle started rusting so I put a temporary fix on it.
It gets an average of 10 mpg with my all time best being 13 mpg. The only off road driving I've done with it has been in the snow and my 2 acre property and it performs great. It had never been abused. I added the KC lights and Wolverine engine heater last year.
The stereo did function fine and I disconnected the power to it this past spring to install a different one but I never found time to replace it. The power can be reconnected.
Quigley converted vans are top notch and kind of rare. Some of these are fetching a lot of money. So far I haven't seen them in the pricing guide books. I will consider trading for an electric car of similar value. (I-miev, Leaf, Rav4 EV, Think City, etc.)
It is a used vehicle so there will be no refund, warranty or return after it's sold. Please ask as many questions as you need to. If you'd like to see the van I can meet you at the Lowes
on 13856 Metrotech drive in Chantilly, VA 20151. Contact me through bay in advance and we'll work out the details.
