1931 Ford Model A
1931 Slant Window Deluxe Town Sedan. This is a very straight and original car. Powder Coated wheels with nice whitewall Goodyear tires. Appears to be the original mohair interior, in very good condition considering the age. Lots of accessories including Stone Guard, cowl lights, step plates, fender well mounted spares, original sun visors inside, wind wings, and luggage rack. Very presentable. The paint is faded, but there is no rust. The previous owner was in our our car club, and drove the car regularly on trips with the club up until about five years ago. He did a lot of mechanical work on the car, including a full rebuild of the brakes, steering, and a completely rebuilt "B" engine which was installed about five years ago, and only driven 800 miles before they lost interest in the club. Car has always been well maintained and is a good driver, ready for the road. I installed a new battery, added some fuel and did some maintenance work. This would be a great car to repaint, or drive as is. You will never find a better Slant Window for the money. The "B" engine provide some extra power for touring, in fact it also has the B carburetor, which starts easily, idles nice and also provides more power. Full Disclosure: the car is very straight but does have a couple of dents, one is on the driver's door where the door has hit the spare tire, the other is over the passenger side rear window where a piece of lumber fell on the car years ago in storage. it's still a great looking old car. Look over the pictures, and feel free to contact me with any questions, or come to my shop, and see and drive this car at Bentley's Antique Auto Service in North Georgia. Thanks for looking.
