1966 MUSTANG COUPE 289 HI PERFORMANCE 4 SPEED RESTORED
Up for auction is a 1966 Mustang 4 speed 289 Hi performance . It has approx 1500 miles on a complete rebuilt engine . It was built to 289 Hi performance specs , along with the 4 speed transmission . The car runs great with no problems and is fast . Theres new tire, new American Torque thrust wheels . it also has 4 wheel disc brake, non power . It has the Kal Trac bars along with a tied in frame to make it strong .
The undercarriage is as clean as the top of the ca, no cover ups her, painted nicely . The exhaust is relatively new along with the mufflers and tail pipe, sounds really good .
The engine was built to 289 specs with a mild cam but nothing radica, just a nice rumbl, it also has MSD electronics. The engines was powder coate, and looks really nic, has a aluminum radiator
The engine compartment is as clea, and nea, as you would want it to b, no greas, oi, just plain clean ! The rear end is a 388 posi . There are new shocks all around .The frame is really nice no issues at al, along with the floor pans . The car was originally from the south (Georgia) All the body lines are nice and line up correctly . The hood is a Ford reversed bubble like they were originally with hood pins
The rear tail lights are custom with sequential turn signaling
The interior is new with new seat cover, headline, carpet and all are in perfect shape . All glass is good and all the windows roll up and down effortlessly . There is a tach on the dash which also works fine
All the new gauges are Auto Meter that were installed in the dash and all work like they shoul, there is a Sony CD player and radio
The car is in really nice shape and the paint on the scale of 1-10 its a 9 for sur, and also it is a stock color for the 1966 Mustang . The body is really super straight with no issues of wave, bondo (etc) This is really a nice looking well put together Mustan, one you would be proud to own . Ready for the road or show
