1972 FORD F 100 RANGER XLT

Up for auction is my Ford F 100 Ranger XLT pick-up. The truck is in A-1 condition with no faults or issues. Truck is a V-8 with automatic trans, power steering and more. There is very minimal surface rust on the truck . The body is as straight as can be with no major dents as you can see by the pictures I have posted. The paint is in good shape.
The transmission was redone 3 years ago and the motor has had similar work. Within the past year tires were put on truck. Also, a recent tune up (not that it was really needed), new brakes all around and if I remember right the wheel cylinders were also done. I have receipts for this work.
The electrical's are also in A-1 shape. All the lights work, turn signals, brake lights, cargo light, tag light, interior fan switch, windshield wipers and dash lights.
The motor does not smoke or knock and it has very good power going down the road. You can be doing 75mph and not notice it.
The glass is in great condition with no chips or cracks in windshield or any other window on the truck. The windows roll up and down and the Fisher windows turn out as they should do with no problem.
The interior is in very good condition. The seat has no rips or tears in it. The door panels are straight with no trim off them nor no tears in them and they are attached firmly to the doors as they should be. They have the Ranger XLT wood grain trim on the panels. I do not know if the carpet and/or seat are original or has been reupholstered but they are in good shape.
The battery was replaced a while back and works as it should.
All of the Ranger Trim is attached to the sides and tailgate of the truck. The trim is in above average condition with none missing. This is very rare for a truck the is 55 years old. One can see that all of the owners have taken very good care of this truck. All the trim is shiny and bright.
The wheels are the special Ford truck 2 piece wheel trim that are rare. One does not see these wheels a lot anymore. I only know of one other Ford PU in our county that has these wheels on his Ford PU.
Truck also has a vinyl bed liner that is in good condition.
I BELIEVE THIS TRUCK WOULD BE A PRIME CANDIDATE FOR A TOTAL RESTORATION EVEN THOUH IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION NOW. THE BETTER THE STARTING CONDITION THE EASIER IT IS TO DO A TOTAL RESTORE
There are over 150 trucks for sale in this Ford catagory. My truck is advertised at a good price. There are over 55 of them that have starting bids of over $10,000 and majority seem that they are not in condition of mine. Who wants to spend $7000. for a truck that needs work, (paint, body or mechanical work)? We drove to Atlanta (110 miles one way) this weekend in my truck with no problems at all. Truck does not shake, rattle, overhreat or any other issue. Whoever buys this truck will get a good runing and driving truck.

The truck is being advertised in the paper and the Buy Sell magazine. I retain the right to cancel the auction at any time if truck is sold in another venue.
This is a rare truck with the condition and all aspects of the pickups running, driving condition and looks.
Now, the final word. A $500 deposit (non-refundable) is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The balance is due within a week or upon pick up during that said week after end of auction. I will accept cash, Bank cashier's check or US Postal money orders. The check or money order must clear my bank before truck is released,
